The Chill One
Luna
Relaxed. Peaceful. Unbothered.
“Do not disturb.”
Luna found the hammock in March and has not fully left it since. She has a system, and the system is working.
Left feeder: breakfast. Right feeder: whenever. The hammock in the middle: everything else, which is most of life, which is fine. The chalkboard explains this clearly. The chalkboard has been there since April. It has not needed updating.
Huey flew past at 40 mph twice this week and made a comment about productivity. Luna did not respond. Luna has learned that responding to things that require moving your head significantly is simply not worth the energy, and she has become very precise about energy.
The sunset log on the table: May 12 — Excellent. May 13 — Excellent. May 14 — Fine. Plan: watch more. She is watching more. She is on schedule.
The DO NOT DISTURB sign is up. It says seriously in parentheses. This has not stopped anyone from disturbing her. It has also not stopped her from putting it up every morning, because the sign is not really about whether people listen. The sign is for Luna. It is a statement of intent. Current status: not moving, not rushing, not sorry.
